Lifting the lid on Darcy Pies
Sustainability is at the heart of our pies. All of our pies (meat & veggie) are packed full of flavour and contain a glorious variety of fresh hand-chopped herbs and vegetables. We only use locally reared meat for fillings, and our chefs make everything from scratch including the gravy, stock and lard.
Pie fillings range from the traditional (think Steak & Stout) to the more exotic (Bunny Chow) but rest assured that every Darcy Pie is made with ingredients that will leave you wanting more!
In our vegetarian range, each pie is full to the brim with seasonal vegetables and a delicious sauce all encased by buttery shortcrust pastry.
Using top quality ingredients means that we use everything and waste nothing - just how we like it!
Why Darcy
Darcy Pies is named after the founder’s daughter (not Austen’s Mr Darcy as you may have thought!). Darcy is as nice as pie - everyone she meets takes a shine to her, and we hope you will take a shine to our pies too!
At just three years old she is always playing with her toy pots & pans and is keen to help in the kitchen – she also loves her pies, so we thought her to be the perfect ambassador.
